Dear NREA Members
The NREA must economize on printing and mailing cost. Some of the hard copy information regarding NREA activities and events will be discontinued after July 1, and will be delivered to the membership electronically. So, it is extremely important to you and the NREA for your email address to be on the NREA List Serve.
The NREA has become more and more dependent upon the NREA List Serve (NREA Electronic Bulletin) and the NREA website to communicate with NREA members. Beginning July 1, the NREA will become even more technologically oriented and more dependent upon the NREA List Serve and the NREA website.
Send your email address to jehill@purdue.edu to be included on the NREA List Serve.
It is very important for your email address to be on the NREA List Serve. Obviously, you are receiving the NREA Electronic Bulletin and other email messages from NREA if we have your email address. If you do not receive NREA email messages, then we need your email address, otherwise you will miss some very important NREA messages after July 1. Of course, your fall back position will be www.nrea.net because the NREA will continue to post valuable information on the NREA website.
Also, hard copies of information will be available to you upon request in the event you do not have an email address.
Please be reminded “The Rural Educator” and the “Rural Education News” will continue to be mailed to you as scheduled.
