Therefore, we encourage you to participate in the several informative events that take place every year. You will learn about new laws and policies that effect rural schools today, and you will probably even have a good time while you’re there! ![]() The 102nd NREA Convention will be in Branson, Missouri. Committee meetings and pre-conference activities will be on October 14. The convention will run from October 15-17, 2010. The location of the meeting is the “Chateau on the Lake.” Special conference rates are available three days before through three days after the conference by going to their Web site. Please enter code NREA2010. It is critical for those working in and with rural schools to share their successes with others around the country. You are invited to submit a proposal for a presentation at the 102nd NREA Convention. The selection committee is looking for proposals that will be of high interest to teachers, administrators, college educators, and department of education officials.
