The Rural Educator


The Rural Educator is the official journal of the NREA. A prestigious, nationally recognized publication, it features timely and informative articles written by leading rural educators from all levels of education. We encourage all NREA members to submit research articles and items of general information for publication. An editorial board reviews all submissions. The journal is published every year in the fall, winter, and spring.


NREA UPdate


The NREA UPdate is the official electronic newsletter of the association. It keeps members up-to-date on association activities, events, rural education conferences and meetings, and research projects in progress. It is distributed weekly via the NREA listserv. View some of our past issues here:
